Remember all (5) horses must be unraced until February 16th, 2013

RULES:
THE MINNESOTA TESTBARN'S PROMOTE A SIRE CONTEST
The idea of this contest is to promote a Local Bred Sire, from one of three states(California, Texas, or Minnesota).
**Lots of good strategy challenges here for all the residents in this contest. Not only breeding (selecting your sire to promote and the sires matings), but also training (keeping healthy and selecting the right races while giving strategic training instructions to keep healthy). Good luck to all and let's give some of our local sires a chance to show what they can produce.
RULES:
**Each contestant will pick (1) 10pt sire from one of the three states and breed (5) 2YO. horses, from any of your existing mares(or if you choose to scratch breed, your backend Sires must be 10pts as well. But can be from anywhere). To make it easier on me you must open a "NEW" stable, just for this contest.
**Only 10pt sires can be used and all 5 must be from the same stallion.
**The residency will give each contestant 50 credits to breed the (5) horses.(To be used towards breeding (5) new foals of your selected sire).
**All (5) horses must be bred by March 1st and you can start breeding anytime after January 1st.
**The contest will begin with the 2YO racing season and run through December 31st.
**I will set up a thread under the contest tab, where each contestant will post their contest stable name and the sire you are going to use(no duplicate sires. First come-first serve). So the earlier you post the better!
**You can only run in Open Maidens, Allowance, and Stakes(you can bid/buy races). If you are willing to take a chance you can run in a claimer, but if you lose the horse you will lose all future income from that horse as only the original 5 horses income will be allowed with you being the owner of the horse.
WINNING:
**Winners will be decided by total stable earnings(only contest horses, in contest stable).
PRIZES: I will pay out prizes personally.
**Less than (5) entrants:
Winner= 500 credits
Place= 250 credits
**More than (5) entries:
Winner= 1000 credits
Place= 500 credits
**In addition, each month the contestant stable with the highest accumulated earnings will win a pick from testhold2(the prize horse must be transfered to a non-contest stable). Residency stables only.
